shores of this lake. The area is the
lowest point on earth, and the Dead Sea
water is more than 8 times saltier then

the reason you are floating on the
water. The high content of minerals and
salts, the weak ultraviolet radiation,

atmosphere have positive effects on the
health. The dark mud found on the Dead
Sea shores has been used for thousands
of years for skin care.

Herod the Great visited already the Hot
Springs of Hammamat MaÂ’in for thermal
treatment. Why not follow suit and relax

feed more than one hundred hot and cold

there, the Evason Hot Springs.

Bedouin family. Being introduced to
Jordanian culture through interaction
with locals is an amazing experience
that is not included in regular Jordan
tours. Jordanians are at their best when
hosting you at their home. Enjoy
traditional dishes like Maglouba or
Mansaf. If you are a vegetarian or on a
special diet, this can be certainly
considered. Having a meal at the home of
a Jordanian family is an unforgettable
experience of authentic Jordan.
Description: If you have not much
time to experience the desert or simply
donÂ’t like to camp, you can get a
glimpse of the atmosphere by having a
dinner in Little Petra. In Nabatean
times caravans stopped here and nowadays
several Bedouin styled camps are located
in this area, just a 10 to 15 minutes
ride from Petra. You can have dinner

this special atmosphere with the starry
sky above you. We drive you to the camp
and back to your Petra hotel.
