Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival  Amman Airport - Hotel in Amman

Our representative welcomes you with a signage at Amman Airport after you exit the customs. Transfer about 50 minutes to your Amman Hotel, check in, remainder of the day free.

Day 2: Hotel in Amman - Amman City Tour -Jerash - Hotel in Amman (B, D)

In the morning sightseeing of Amman, already mentioned in the Bible as Rabbath Ammon. Visit the Citadel hill with the Archaeological Museum, housing an excellent collection like several Dead Sea Scrolls. We stroll via the Souq, where you get an idea of everyday life, to the Roman Theatre from 2nd century with 6000 seats. Visit to the Royal Car Museum, housing the classic car collect ion of late King Hussein. We leave to Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. Visit the spectacular forum, Roman colonnaded street, the Nymphaeum and the Temple of Artemis. Dinner at Kan Zaman Restaurant, an old caravanserai, overnight Amman hotel.

Day 3: Hotel in Amman - Mt Nebo - Madaba - Kerak - Petra Hotel (B)

After breakfast drive to Mt. Nebo, the place where Prophet Moses gazed at the Promised Land before he died. You visit the old monastery and overlook the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, Jericho and Jerusalem. After we proceed to Madaba, where to find the famous mosaic 6th century map of Palestine in St. George’s church. Driving along the famous ancient caravan route the King's Way, we have a short stop in Wadi Al-Mujib, a great wide valley with magnificent geological formation. In Kerak visit the famous Crusader castle built in 1132/34 by King Baldwin I. of Jerusalem. Continue to Petra hotel, check in and overnight.

Day 4: Petra visit -Dinner at Petra Kitchen - Petra Hotel (B, D)

After breakfast to the red rose city Petra, the biggest attraction of Jordan. Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and laid the foundation of a commercial empire that extended into Syria. With the guide pass the canyon, the so called Siq, to see the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. Continue via the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle. After that, free time to explore Petra on your own. In the evening cook and eat your dinner at the Petra Kitchen, learning the secrets of the Jordanian/Arabic cuisine and preparing your meal alongside local women, under the supervision of a trained chef. Overnight Petra hotel.

Day 5: Petra Hotel - Wadi Rum Jeep Ride - Aqaba Hotel (B)

In the morning we drive 1.5 hours southwards to the protected area of Wadi Rum, one of the most impressing desert landscapes in the world. Here still Bedouins live in a traditional way, and by 4x4 Jeep tour you discover canyons, sand dunes and Nabatean rock inscriptions. Then continue 45 minutes to Aqaba at the Red Sea to your hotel, check in, remainder of the day free.

Day 6: Aqaba at leisure (B)


Breakfast at hotel, rest of the day free to enjoy the amenities of your hotel and beach life in Aqaba.

Day 7: Aqaba Hotel -Dana Nature Reserve -Dead Sea Hotel (B)

Today our journey takes us to Dana Nature Reserve, Jordan's largest reserve with a diverse flora and fauna, consisting of mountains and wadis. From the village, inhabited since more than 400 years by Bedouins we start a short hike about 2-3 hours. Continue to the Dead Sea, flanked by mountains and the rolling hills of Jerusalem. Check in at your hotel, and experience to float effortlessly in the salty water at the lowest point on earth.

Day 8: Dead Sea Hotel - Amman Airport (B)

Breakfast, latest check out 12:00, according to departure time transfer to Amman Airport to say farewell.
