Things to consider:
● Weather: Summer time, especially July & August, is too hot for travelling with kids and winter time is except Dead Sea and Aqaba rainy and cool, in some places there is even snow. So the best travel time is spring and autumn.
● Museum Amman: the museums in Amman are closed on Tuesdays.
● Dead Sea: The salt content of the Dead Sea is ten times higher than other water. Keep this in mind especially for your children, even small cuts in the skin cause burning pains. Avoid water in the eyes at all events!
● Petra: To see Petra you have to be prepared for walking. There is also the possibility to take a horse-drawn carriage from the entrance to the Treasury and back.
● Camping in Wadi Rum: The camp offers sharing bathrooms and also beds, but to feel more comfortable we recommend to bring own sleeping bag or sheet and a torch.
Child rate is applicable to children 2-6 year old in an extra bed.
