Day 1: Arrival Cairo
Our representative welcomes you at Cairo International Airport and assists you through the immigration. Then transfer to your hotel in Cairo for overnight.
Day 2: Giza Pyramids - Egyptian Museum - Train to Luxor (B)
After breakfast, enjoy a trip to the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Back in Cairo visit the Egyptian Museum where you can see fascinating pharaonic artifacts. Transfer to railway station to take first class seating train to Luxor.
Day 3: Luxor (B, D)
Arrive Luxor train station, where our representative meets and transfers you to the hotel for check in. After that enjoy an excursion to the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, the powerful Egyptian queen, and the Colossi of Memnon. Then visit the splendid Luxor Temple and Karnak Temples. Overnight Luxor hotel.
Day 4: Aswan (B)
After breakfast transfer by air-conditioned vehicle to Aswan, where you will be met and taken to your hotel for check-in. See the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk,
then on to the beautiful Temple of Philae, which is dedicated to the goddesses Isis and Hathor. Sail and move around Elephantine Island by a felucca boat. Return to Aswan hotel for overnight.
Day 5: Abu Simbel (B, D)
Trip by coach in the south to the western bank of Lake Nasser to visit the impressive Temples of Ramses II and queen Nerfertari at Abu Simbel. Return to Aswan railway station for departure to Cairo by first class seating train, dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Back to Cairo (B)
You will be met and assisted at Giza train station then transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo. Optional tour to the ancient capital Memphis and Saqqara is possible.
Day 7: Free day Cairo (B)
Free day in Cairo or optional trip to Alexandria where you can see Qaitbay Fort from the 15th century, and the Montazah Palace, combining Turkish and Florentine architectural styles. Other important sites are the new Alexandria Library and the Roman catacombs. Return to Cairo hotel for overnight.
Day 8: Departure Cairo (B)
Breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for departure.
