Check out from the hotel and drive to Madaba, to view the famous
mosaic 6th century map of Palestine in St. George's church. Short ride to Mt.
Nebo. This is the place where Moses gazed at the Promised Land before he died
and believed to be his burial place. You visit the old monastery, overlook the
Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and parts of the Holy Land. At Dead Sea Beach,
the lowest point on earth, you have leisure time at the beach and the chance to
float on salty waters (shower and locker rooms are available). Driving towards
Petra we enjoy the view of Dana Reserve and visit in Shobak the Crusader castle
built by King Baldwin I. of Jerusalem. Overnight Petra
hotel.
Day 5: Petra Visit - Petra Hotel (B)
Visit the red rose city Petra, the biggest attraction of
Jordan. Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean
Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and founded a commercial empire.
You can start the trip on horse back or by foot to the canyon, the so called
Siq, and then walk to the most beautiful monument: the Treasury, from here to
the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle. Time on your own.
Overnight in Petra.
Day 6: Petra Hotel - Wadi Rum jeep tour - Amman Hotel

In the morning we drive 1.5 hours southwards to the
protected area of Wadi Rum, one of the most impressing desert landscapes in the
world. Here still Bedouins live in a traditional way, and by 4x4 Jeep tour you
discover canyons, sand dunes and Nabatean rock inscriptions. Then drive back to
the capital Amman, overnight at hotel.
Day 7: Amman Hotel - Amman Airport (B)
Breakfast, latest check out 12:00 noon, dependent from your
departure time transfer to Amman Airport to say farewell and board your
flight.
