Day 1: Arrival Amman Airport - Hotel in Amman
Upon arrival at Amman Airport our representative welcomes you with a signage after you passed through the customs. Transfer about 50 minutes to your hotel in Amman for overnight.
Day 2: Amman Hotel - Mt Nebo - Wadi Mujib Siq Trail – Dead Sea Hotel (B = Breakfast)
Morning time we drive to Mt Nebo, the place where Prophet Moses is believed to be buried. You view the monastery with old mosaic and overlook the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and parts of the Holy Land.
Drive to Wadi Mujib, where you walk along the Siq Trail following a water stream deeper inside the cool canyon. Depending on your fitness level you can scarmble along small waterfalls, the farer you get the higher the water. Have some shoes and trousers ready for change after the visit, and a waterproof bag for the camera.
Transfer to your Dead Sea hotel for a free afternoon at the shores of the lowest point on earth.
Day 3: Dead Sea Hotel - Wadi Ben Hammad - Kerak Castle - Dana Hotel (B, Lunch Box, Dinner)
After breakfast check out. We continue to another popular Wadi: Ben Hammad. The hike takes around 4 hours time, you follow a water stream, see hanging gardens and small waterfalls. Then we take the opportunity to visit the Crusader castle from 12th century with imposing underground halls and corridors.
Proceed to Dana village for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Dana 3 hours hike - Little Petra - Petra Hotel (B)
With your guide you get to know more of the nature reserve Dana, consisting of mountains and valleys with rich fauna & flora. Time on your own to wonder around in the terraced gardens and the village itself, see local handicraft and enjoy some spectacular views. Then we drive to the bizarre landscape of Little Petra, visit Siq Al Barid, a miniature Petra with a modest gorge that leads into an area of carved tombs and monuments. Short ride to your Petra hotel for overnight.
Day 5: Petra visit – Wadi Rum Camp (B, Dinner)
Start to visit the rock city Petra, Jordan's most famous attraction and one of the New Seven Wonders. A local guide will give you a short introduction of this unique place and walks with you via the Siq, a narrow gorge, to the most beautiful monument, the Treasury, to the Street of Facades and the Royal Tombs. You have time on your own and climb for example the more than 800 stairs to the Monastery El Deir with amazing views to Wadi Araba.
Afternoon 1.5 hours transfer to Wadi Rum, dinner and overnight at campsite.
Day 6: Wadi Rum 3 hours jeep ride - Amman Hotel (B)
Wadi Rum is one of the most impressing desert landscapes in the world. By 4x4 Jeep tour you discover the rugged mountains, pastell coloured sand dunes, Thamudic rock inscriptions and a natural rock bridge. Then we'll journey 4 hours to Amman hotel.
Day 7: Amman Hotel - Amman Airport (B)
Breakfast, latest check out from hotel room is 12:00 noon. Dependent from departure time transfer to Amman Airport to say farewell and board your international flight.
